Bal-Ami Super 40 - 1957 British Jukebox (Restoration Pictures)
Bal-AMi Super 40, first produced by the Balfour Marine Engineering Company in 1957. Offering 40 selections this followed the successful "Junior" model with a redesigned cabinet, mechanism and plusher trim.
This non-working machine was in poor shape having been left in a garage for 20 odd years. All the records listed on the title strips were issued in 1968 suggesting this was the last year it was used commercially.
Restoration commenced in August 2013 and was finally completed in September 2014.

Rock-Ola Regis, Model 1495, 200 Selections manufactured in 1961. This machine is in stunning condition having been fully restored by one of the UK leading restorers the "Juke of Shrewsbury". Delivered April 2014 this is a superb restoration by Adrian which also has amazing sound quality. A real classic Silver Age Jukebox!

Bal-AMi Junior J40, first produced by the Balfour Marine Engineering Company in1956. Offering 40 selections this scaled down machine was particularly suitable for smaller location. This machine was purchased from Junktion Antiques in March 2012 as a non working, restoration projection. Some 52 weeks later this cracking little jukebox is finally rediscovering it's youth!

I was searching extensively for one to cast in the leading role of my new video and chose this as soon as I saw it without hesitation. Cuando vi la rock Ola me trajeron tantos recuerdos Pero cuando pusistes ese 45 Con la cancion de TERRY STAFFORD se me calleron las lagrimas Si Parece que Hayer Bailabamos y escuchabamos la Rock ola Y el gran Elvis Presley tambien la cantaba ,,Y Terry Stafford y tu tienes el 45 original de Terry ya que tiene coro .. This was the first jukebox I had ever seen. Late 1960s my sister and I or eating ice cream cones at the counter at this roadside cafe while our dad was fishing outside on the bank. The ice cream cones were huge and delicious. But I was so fascinated with the mechanics of this jukebox. I don't remember the song that was playing. I just remember the more general details.
